I would like to say it's because I'm slightly deaf in my left ear, but more likely I just can't multitask to save my life.Īlso as an aside, I like my bass to be quite punchy, not the softer 'American' sound (as a guy in an AV shop once described it to me) - ie quite flat to my ears. It needs to have chatmix as I can't focus on the loudness of the game as well as people talking. Also stamping around when I get sniped for the 8th bloody time in a row on Monte Grappa. It needs to be wireless as I like to wander around and pop outside for a smoke while BF1 is loading the next map. Honestly there are so many choices I'm confusing myself. Nari Ultimate - bad build quality and terrible mic, I've read. Apparently chatmix doesn't work on PS4 though, otherwise I probably would've gone for this.

Steelseries Arctic 7 - critically loved, although user reviews sound average for sound. Playstation Platinum - as it's presumably an upgrade to my current headset it sounds like the safe choice. I'd like to update to something better sounding. It seems good for chatmix and the mic is OK but the sound itself sounds really tinny to me. I currently have the Playstation 2.0 headset. I'd only use it for PS4 and PC, not for music or outside my flat. I need a new wireless headset that has chatmix but also sounds good and has a good mic.
